Work Location: Shanghai
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for day-to-day execution of services on a project- Assist the Country Director to review the tender opportunities and identify the strategic direction of the project. Allocate key project resource to fulfil the contractual parameters and mitigate delivery risk to the business.- Attend pre-award, trade contractor interviews as appropriate and as identified in the QMS.- Oversee all live projects and ensure projects are adequately resourced and controlled at all times to mitigate delivery risk to the business.- Review resource allocations to meet client handover requirements.- To ensure Quality Audits and Project Post Mortem are held in a timely manner.- Evaluate the performance in the light of industry best practice and initiate continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements:
Education & Training Degree in Building Studies / Quantity Surveying / Engineering, or equivalent Member of related professional institutions e.g. MCIOB, MRICS, MHKIE, MICE, MIPM, etc. preferred
Technical Requirements 8 years relevant experience in related field
Managerial Experience Experience in managing a team of staff in a related field
Others Computer literate – Microsoft Office Good command of English

The Project Manager (PM) will lead and manage the development of multiple Interior Design Projects from finalizing of the Concept Development stage to final delivery of Design Development Packages.
Skills-Competent in Autocad, and other CAD and presentation software programs.-Competent with MS Office Software programs.-Must be fluent in both English and Chinese (Mandarin) and be able to work across the cultural expectations and conventions. Understanding Cantonese is also desirable.A good knowledge in construction finishes materials, manufacturing methods, process etc.
Job Function-Under the supervision of the Technical Director, give to the design team technical solutions or advices and/or find the right people to give the best solutions.-Responsible for preparation and finalizing of technical deliverables at Scheme Design and Design Development stages.-Identify material and finishes specifications, select suitable suppliers and obtain samples and cost information.-Prepare and manage Material Schedules for inclusion in Scheme Design and Design Development deliverables.Manage lighting design requirements and specifications, work with specialist consultants/suppliers to create lighting schemes and light fitting schedules.-Review contractors shop drawings..Make site visits and inspections..Control prototype/mock-up developmentPrepare site reports, defect reports, photographs and meeting minutes.
